We settle the block on April 29th, amazing that we will soon own such a big chunk of Australia!
But the paperwork is only just starting: all the conveyancing docs for the settlement agent including a massive cheque of Stamp Duty to our State Government, the "Application to construct a bore" (that's the artesian well for some of the water supply), the "Application to Take Water" (from the aforementionned bore), the "Application to for a New Power Connection", done online, but then printed out!
Current Middle of the Night Thoughts: septic tanks! will we get away with only 1 system for both the house and the barn washroom???
My daughter and I, many many horses and ponies, dogs, cats, rabbits, and our new 11 acre block of land.
