The House Chapter 1
The earthworks for the new house were supposed to start on Wednesday, after the surveyors had pegged out a "building envelope".
Wednesday lunchtime: nothing happening, no pegs, no machinery.
Me, cynical (as usual): " Here we go, the delays have started!"
Thursday, it all happened, the surveyors, the front-end loader, the compactor!
Yippee, we're on the way!
And we now have supervisors-in-residence, Romeo and Brynn, who moved to the Block on Monday.
